The Law Office of Anne Marie Giri

How I Started

I am a third generation Floridian born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. After graduating from Eau Gallie High School, I decided to move away to attend college and law school earning my B.A. in International Studies from the University of South Florida and my J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. I honed my legal skills in the South Florida area for the last 13 years. After that, I returned home to take care of my ailing father, a retiree from Harris Corporation.

While obtaining my paralegal degree from Brevard Community College, now Eastern Florida State College, I decided to enter law school, after experiencing my brother attempting to seek legal help but failing to do so because he could not afford to retain legal counsel. This incident had inspired me to establish my own practice, The Law Office of Anne Marie Giri, to assist the everyday man and woman.

My Career

I began my legal my career as a paralegal working in the fields of Social Security Disability, Worker's Compensation, and Personal Injury working for attorneys here in Melbourne Florida. While in law school at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), I was a Certified Legal Intern in the Civil Litigation Department of the State of Florida, Office of Attorney General as part of the NSU Personal Injury Law Clinic. I graduated from NSU in 2002 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004. I have had the additional honor of being admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court in April of 2014.

Since graduating law school, I have worked on cases involving Personal Injury (Bodily Injury), Personal Injury Protection, Civil Sexual Assault and Battery, Probate Litigation, Property Litigation, Premises Liability, Probate, Estate Planning, Landlord/Tenant, and Community Association Law

At present, I am the "People's Attorney" offering legal services to the everyday man and woman. I’m dedicated to assisting individuals who do not qualify for legal aid and those who can’t afford to pay a large up-front retainer. For example, I can provide ad hoc legal services to represent you in just one aspect of a legal case in which you are involved such as representing you at a hearing or a deposition.
